v1.1 - Web launch & performance improvements
After a little bit of time away from Destroy All Goblins, I returned to the codebase and optimized the code so that it runs much faster. This makes it possible to enable the web build, which was otherwise running too slowly to make public before v1.1. Play Destroy All Goblins now in your browser!
It’s important to me to support my games even after they’re finished. Having the game run smoother is great for everyone, and having it available on the web means more people will check the game out.
Another small v1.1 change is that text renders more clearly on high DPI screens.
Destroy All Goblins continues to be the largest game I’ve worked on. It took me about 50 hours to complete it, and I learned so much. I’ve since been working on smaller projects, but I’m getting prepared to dive into a larger project soon. A project even larger than DAG!
